Girls finish 11th in the State

Girls finish 11th in Division I. The girls' XC team finished 11th overall at the DIAA State Meet at White Clay Creek. The team was led by Analise Kaminski's 30th place finish.

New Castle Counties

The varsity finished 17th and the JV finished 7th at the New Castle County Championships at Winterthur on Saturday.

11 PRs at Catholics

The girls combined to set 11 new season best times at the Catholic Conference Championships at Bellevue State Park. Analise Kaminski led the way with a 10th place finish in the competition.

The team combined to set 12 new season-best times at the Joe O'Neill Invitational on Friday.

UD BLUE-GOLD Invitational

Salesianum Invitational

The girls finished 9th overall at the Salesianum Invitational on October 5th. Junior Analise Kaminksi led the team with a 15th-place finish overall, and senior Allie Spurrier had her best race ever at the Creek. The pack of Andie Moran, Allie Walls, Lauren Augustynowicz, and Brittney Walls all finished within twenty seconds of each other to score for the varsity.

Carlisle Invitational

The girls competed very well at the Carlisle Invitational on Saturday. The team combined to set fourteen new season-best 5K times! Junior Analise Kaminski led the way on the challenging course with a time of 21:00. Senior Allison Spurrier and freshman Andie Moran joined sisters Ally and Britney Walls to round out the top-five with great races. In the JV race, sophomore Madison Sycalik ran alongside a strong freshman pack of Lauren Augustynowicz, Cameron Johnson, Maggie Myers, and Caitlin Marsilii to score for the team.

Spartanrunner of the Week for Cherokee- Isabella Hanrahan

SMXC finishes 19th at Cherokee

The girls’ cross country team finished nineteenth out of over fifty schools at the Nike Cherokee Challenge in Marlton, NJ on Saturday. Analise Kaminski led the team with an 18th place finish out of 221 runners in the junior class race. Andie Moran, voted last week’s ‘Spartan Runner of the Week’, led her class by coming in 71st out of 193 finishers in the freshman race. Isabella Hanrahan finished 52nd overall out of 258 runners in the sophomore class race, and Sarah Pettoruto finished 50th out of 197 in the senior class race. Nineteen girls combined to run their best two-mile time of the season! The girls compete again in two weeks at the Puma Carlisle Invitational.

Spartanrunner of the Week for Lake Forest- Andie Moran

Varsity 3rd/JV 3rd at Lake Forest

The girls varsity and jv teams both brought home third place trophies at the Lake Forest Invitational at Killen's Pond in Felton, DE on Saturday. Under hot and humid conditions, the girls rallied their way to two trophies by outlasting their opponents in the second half of their races.

Your girls’ cross country team kicked off the season with a 3rd place finish at the Lake Forest Invitational on Saturday at Killen’s Pond. Junior Analise Kaminski led the way for the Lady Spartans, coming in 6th place overall. She has now led the team in all 23 races she has run in a St. Mark’s uniform. Senior Sarah Pettoruto came in 12th place overall, earning a top-15 honors. Seniors Allie Spurrier, Gilly Hamory, and Rachel McCabe rounded out the top five spots for the varsity squad. The junior varsity also brought home a trophy with another 3rd place finish in their race. Junior Brenna Marzano, freshman Andie Moran, and sophomore Allie Walls finished in the top 15 to earn medals.
