Tiffany Herrera State Champ at 3200M!

Glover finishes 3rd in 55M and 200M!!

Tiffany Herrera continued her record-breaking season with a big win at the DIAA State Championship in the 3200M. It is the team's first state championship in a distance event in school history, and established a new school record of 11:11.63. Zion Glover finished 3rd to tie his school record in the 55M at 6.59, and then returned to finish 3rd with a new PR of 22.97 in the 200M. He also led off the 7th-place 4x400M team.

The 4x400M team of Zion Glover, Kyle Poppiti, Logan Szczepanek, and Ryan Quirk finished 2nd in their heat in 3:40 and 7th overall. The girls' 4x800M team of Stepanie Herrera, Sarah Donaldson, Natalia Delgado, and Erin Gebhardt finished 6th in a new personal best of 10:28.

Stephanie Herrera finished 10th in the 3200M with the 3rd fastest time in school history at 12:04, and Sarah Donaldson finished 11th overall in the 800M. Both 4x200M relay teams ran season-best performances!

4 Records broken at New Balance Games

Tiffany Herrera and Zion Glover each broke two school records on Saturday at the New Balance Invitational in New York City.

Tiffany Herrera broke a 34-year-old record in the 3200M by 46 seconds. She ran the 2-Mile in 11:18.89, which converts to a 11:14.89 for 3200M. The record had been held by Molly Bardsley at 12:00 since 1985! Tiffany finished 3rd overall in the race, and is now ranked 12th in state history for the event. She also came back and broke the school record in the 1000M at 3:08.95, which is ranked #9 in state history.

Zion Glover broke his own school record in the 55M. He was tied for the record at 6.62 with Scott Vari, but he now owns it outright at 6.59. He finished 4th overall in the event. He also came back to break his own record in the 300M dash with a 36.55.

Stephanie Herrera finished first in her heat and 28th overall to qualify for the state meet in the 2 mile at 12:22. Freshman Max DiOssi finished 15th overall in the shot put.

Zion Glover Ties 55M School Record with 6.62! Sets Meet Record!

Tiffany Herrera sets freshman 1600M record at 5:25.73

The squad split on Saturday, with runners heading to the Coaches Hall of Fame Invite at the Armory and the Tower Hill Invitational.

Zion Glover led the way by winning the Varsity 55M Dash Finals, setting a new meet record, and tying the school record. He is also ranked 44th in state history, and is ranked #47 in the country! He also set a PR in the 400M with a 54.68.

Tiffany Herrera finished 3rd in the Varsity 1600M and established a new school record at 5:25.73. Sarah Donaldson finished 12th in the race in 5:47.32. Connor Hessler finished 11th overall in the boy's 1-Mile in a new PR of 4:47.49.

The girl's 4x800 team of Stephanie Herrera, Sarah Donaldson, Natalia Delgado, and Tiffany Herrera ran to 5th place in 10:39.95.
