DIAA State Meet
Catalano finishes 3rd overall in Shot, Corbett finishes 4th in long jump, Donaldson 7th in 800M, and 4x800 team finishes 5th overall!
The indoor track & field team finished the season at the DIAA state meet on a high note. The team earned medals, PRs, season bests, and all-time performances. Dominic Catalano was the top scorer for the team, finishing 3rd overall in the boys' shot put. His throw was just 1 inch shy of earning him ALL STATE. Gianna Corbett jumped a 15'10" to finish 4th overall in the long jump. Sarah Donaldson ran 2:28 in the 800M and won the first heat, finishing 7th overall in the event. The 4x800M team of Donaldson, Augustynowicz, Gehbardt, and Delgado finished 5th overall in 10:25. That is the #2 time in school history for the event!
Ana Dacey had a solid performance in the 3200M, finishing 11th in the state! The 4x200M girls team of Boffa, Wright, Day, and Corbett finished 13th overall, but ran the 3rd fastest time in school history! The boys' 4x400M team of Hessler, Catalano, Bradley, and Rodriguez ran 3:50, which was the fastest time of the season!

Dacey Breaks 3000M School Record; Glover breaks 60M School Record (#19 All Time in DE)
Zion Glover continued his epic indoor campaign with a school record performance in the 60M. His time of 7.25 ranks him #19 in state history! Ana Dacey also broke the school record in the 3000M by 14 seconds, running an 11:55.15. Her record broke Erica Trofa's time of 12:09.9, set in 2010.

Donaldson Breaks 1000M School Record; #9 in DE All Time! Glover makes finals of 55M Dash!!!
Sarah Donaldson broke the school record in the 1000M at the Armory in NY City with a time of 3:09.87. Her time eclipsed the old mark set by Analise Kaminski in 2014 at the same meet, where she ran 3:12.30. Sarah is now ranked #9 in state history in the 1000M!
Zion Glover ran 6.69 in the 55M to make the finals at the New Balance Games. Zion finished 8th in the finals, but ran the 7th fastest time on the day out of 182 runners! Zion holds the #2 time in school history and is ranked in the top-40 in the country among HS sophomores! Glover came back to run 38. in the 300M Dash to earn a new school record in the event!

Haverford N5CTA Invite
Sunday, January 7, at Haveford College
The girls finished 6th and the boys finished 8th at the Haverford N5CTA Invitational. Dom Catalano led the way with a 1st place finish in the shot put. His throw of 44'0" qualified him for states and is #3 in Delaware. Ana Dacey took 3rd overall in the 3000M with a time of 12:12.48. Amy Day took 2nd overall in the triple jump,

Marine Corps Holiday Classic
DMR and SMR Records Fall, Corbett Breaks Sophomore Long Jump Record!!!
2017 ended with two new school records at the Armory. The Girls' Distance Medley Relay team of Sarah Donaldson (1200M -4:04.9), Gianna Corbett (400M -1:06.0), Lauren Augustynowicz (800M- 2:38.8), and Ana Dacey (1600M- 6:01.2) ran 13:51.50 to break the record by 3 seconds. Later in the evening, the Sprint Medley Relay team broke another school record. Amy Day (400M-1:09), Gianna Corbett (200M- 29.0) Aniyah Wright (200M- 28.1) and Sarah Donaldson (800M- 2:35.5) broke a 5-year-old record by 7 seconds in running 4:43.36.
Gianna Corbett also led off the day with a new sophomore meet record in the long jump, clearing 16-2. That jump ranks her #5 in Delaware.
Zion Glover finished 5th in the sophomore 55M in 6.89, and came back to finish 3rd in the 200M in 23.81!

Scrimmage at Downingtown West HS
The team kicked off the 2018 Indoor Track & Field season with an outdoor scrimmage at Downingtown West HS. Results cannot count towards any qualifying times, but the team fought hard and had many excellent performances.
