The girls had a big day 1 of counties! Sarah Eissmann is the New Castle County champion, after throwing 112'4" to capture the title! The 4x800 team of Donaldson (2:25) Augustynowicz (2:32) Johnson (2:40) and Puhl (2:33) ran the fastest times since 2014, finishing 5th overall in 10:12.66! Aniyah Wright ran the fastest 100M time for Saint Mark's Track & Field since 2009, making it the finals in 13.10 FAT.
Maureen Kirk and Maddy Pruitt had outstanding performances in the 3200M, running 13:22 and 13:29 respectively. Both girls had BIG PRS!! Abby Brackin ran a PR in the 100M with a 14.56!

Eissmann wins discus for 3rd straight Championship, Procope 2nd! 4x200 and 4x400 improve seed times for states in earning 2nd-Team All-Catholic, Puhl lowers PR in 300-hurdles to 52.01! 4x800 finishes 2nd-Team All-Catholic!

Eissmann throws 111-2 and finishes 2nd overall!
Girls run fastest times at Penn in three years!
The 4x100m team of Wright, Tucker, Corbett, and Day (53.51) ran their fastest time at Penn Relays since 2011 ! The 4x400M team of Puhl, Wright, Augustynowicz (4:24.25) ran the fastest time of the season and ran their fastest time at Penn Relays since 2014!
SMTF Moves to 5-1 in Double Win vs. Ursuline and DMA
Saint Mark's seniors finish their careers with a 19-3 record. Since 2010, SMTF has gone 33-5-1 in dual meet!!
Team combines for 38 Season-Best Performances!!
Saint Mark's Track & Field continues to shine during the regular season, outpacing Ursuline and DMA by a score of 67-46-40, respectively.
Gianna Corbett was a double winner in both the long jump and the high jump! Individual winners were Milena Procope in the shot put, Sarah Eissmann in the discus, and Amy Day in the 200M. The 4x200M team of Caroline Puhl, Aniyah Wright, Lauren Augustynowicz, and Sarah Donaldson took first overall, as did the 4x400M team of Ashley Tucker, Jillian Boffa, Isabella Hanrahan, and Kacey Tramont. The seniors now graduate with a combined record of 19-3 over four years!!

Aniyah Wright, Gianna Corbett, Caroline Puhl, and Sarah Donaldson combined to break the school record in the Swedish Medley Relay!

Big Day at a Windy Whippet Invitational
Eissmann 1st overall, 4x800 (Augustynowicz, Donaldson, Tramont, Johnson) 2nd, Corbett 2nd in long Jump
The girls' team continued to shine this spring with an impressive performance at the Whippet Invitational at Downingtown West High School. Sarah Eissmann led the way with a big win in the discus! The 4x800 team of Augustynowicz, Donaldson, Tramont, and Johnson finished 2nd overall to kick off the day. Gianna Corbett jumped to 2nd overall in the long jump. Sarah Donaldson came back to finish 3rd in a very competitive 800M. Augustynowicz finished 7th in the same race. Amy Day finished 7th in the long jump, and Puhl came in 8th in the 400M.
Girls Defeat Caravel 86-27
SMTF moves to 3-1 on the season; Corbett, Donaldson, Procope, and Eissmann earn qualifiers
The girls' track and field squad moved to 3-1 with an 86-27 win over Caravel. The team picked up 14 first place finishes out of 15.
Milena Procope qualified in winning the shot put, with a throw of 31'1.5". Gianna Corbett earned first place in the long jump, clearing 15'10.75". She is ranked #2 in Division II in the long jump!
Sarah Donaldson took first in both the 1600M and 3200M. She lowered her qualifier in the 1600m with a 5:36.4, and came back to run 12:55 in the 3200M. Her 5:36.4 is ranked #2 in division II. Sarah Eissmann continued her #1 rank status in the discus, throwing 108'6". She is just 4 feet off of her personal best!
Other individual winners were Aniyah Wright (100M- 13.4), Alyssa Berggrun (200M- 29.7), Caroline Puhl (300M Hurdles- 54.5), Isabella Hanrahan (400M- 1:10.2), and Lauren Augustynowicz (800M- 2:39.6).
The team also took first place in all four relays!
Captain's Classic at CNU
Christopher Newport University, Newport News, VA
The girl competed on Friday/Saturday at the Captains Classic in Newport News, VA. Sarah Eissmann led the way with a 3rd place medaling performance in the discus with a season-best through of 107'10". Sarah Donaldson ran a 5:39.01 in the 1600M to qualify for states! Lauren Augustynowicz finished 7th overall in the 800M run. The 4x400m team of Donaldson, Caroline Puhl, Aniyah Wright, and Lauren Augustynowicz finished 8th overall in a season-best 4:30.01. The 4x800M team of Maddy Pruitt, Jillian Boffa, Olivia Smith, and Isabella Hanrahan finished 6th in 11:25.57. The team combined for 21 season-best performances on the day!
Saint Mark's Defeats Archmere 78-47
Girls win nine events and two relays vs Archmere
The girls' track and field team defeated Archmere 78-47 to move to 2-1 on the season. Double winners were Milena Procope (shot put and discus) and Aniyah Wright (100-Meter and 200-Meter). Individual winners were Andie Moran (1600-meters) Cameron Johnson (800 meters) Sarah Donaldson (400 meters) Caroline Puhl (300-Meter hurdles) and Gianna Corbett (long jump). Donalson, Maureen Kirk, Maddie Pruitt, and Jillian Boffa won the 4x800 -Meter Relay, and Ashley Tucker, Amy Day, Boffa, and Donaldson also won the 4x400-meter relay.
Girls Open Up Season Saturday at Home
Girls split Tri-Meet vs Ursuline and Newark Charter
The girls' Track & Field team opened up the season with a split vs. Newark Charter and Ursuline. Individual winners were Gianna Corbett (High Jump and 200-Meters), Caroline Puhl (400-Meters), Lauren Augustynwicz (800-Meters), Sarah Eissmann (Discus), and Milena Procope (Shot Put). The team also took first overall in the 4x100-Meter Relay with Corbett, Amy Day, Abbie Brackin, + Aniyah Wright; and the 4x400-Meter Relays with Puhl, Wright, Augustynowicz, and Jillian Boffa. Sarah Eissmann's discus throw was a state qualifier!
