SMXC 2019
The Saint Mark'sGirls' XC team took home first place overall in both their varsity and JV races at the Six Flags Invitational on Saturday. The team was led by Tiffany Herrera (20:06) and Natalie Donaldson (20:09), who finished 4th and 5th overall! Jordan Ormsby (21:23), Stephanie Herrera (21:30), and Kaileigh Brady (21:41) rounded our the team's top 5 scorers by finishing 16th, 18th, and 19th. The team combined for 42 points. The boys varsity finished 8th, and JV finished 5th. Connor Hessler led the team with a 17:09 finish for 7th overall!
The girls' JV team placed 8 runners in the top 20, with Erin Gebhardt (21:58), Angela Minner (22:22), and Hannah Heredia(22:58) finishing 2nd, 3rd, and 7th, respectively. In the boys' JV race, junior Patrick Donahue finished 25th overall (20:16). The team combined for 40 points in the win.
The team competes this weekend in Cary, North Carolina, at the Nike Great American XC Festival.

Girls finish 3rd overall, Boys 11th, at White Clay Creek Classic
The team combined to put 10 athletes in the top 20 in their races on Friday afternoon.
Tiffany Herrera led the way with a 2nd place finish in the sophomore race. Her time of 20:06 is the #3 sophomore time in school history on the course. Natalie Donaldson finished 4th overall in the freshman race with a 20:36. She ranks #8 ALL TIME and #3 in freshman history on the course.

Freshman Kaileigh Brady 11th overall in 21:54.

On the boys' side, senior Connor Hessler finished 11th overall in 17:20. His time is #24 in school history!
Freshman Topher Lord also finished 11th overall in 19:09!
